The journey began with Mr. Veda Murthy, son of a farmer from the village of Cheelangi. Believing in destiny and possessing a vision to become a successful entrepreneur, he moved to Chitradurga and incorporated Banashankari Enterprises in 1983.

Progressing from an electrical lineman to the owner of 'Hotel Veda Comforts'—the district's first tourism-approved hotel—he expanded his wings into construction materials and building solutions.

Continuing this legacy, Shankar Infra was started as a unit of Banashankari Enterprises with a vision to provide quality turnkey projects. Our core philosophy, taught by our founder, is:
